A key aspect of Apollo Academy is working with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and projects in the Web3 space to co-create valuable, educational content for the masses. Apart from our 20-minute seminars, we’ve been actively seeking collaborators who want to take it one step further by filming an entire course with us.
Broken down into several short videos, courses are easy to digest, and Apollonauts can track their progress on our platform; choosing to come back and continue the course during their free time. Kickstarting our educational course series, we collaborated with Victor Lim (@yellowpantherx), the Founder of 100X Alpha Club to co-create a NFT basics and fundamentals course with us.
Dive into the World of NFTs
NFTs have taken the world by storm and the number of NFT projects in the space continues to rise. Before individuals can consider purchasing their first NFT, it’s important to educate themselves on how they work and the fundamentals of the Web3.0 universe.
This course gives Apollonauts an in-depth understanding of what cryptocurrencies are all about and teaches people how to identify good NFT projects. Victor also defines and goes through common processes like whitelisting and using NFT sourcing and analytical tools. Students can expect a detailed course covering topics such as:
What are Cryptocurrencies?
NFT Basics and Fundamentals
What is a Metaverse?
NFT Starter Kit
Types of NFT Marketplaces
Types of NFTs
How to Identify Good NFT Projects
What is Cybersecurity and Common Practices
What is an NFT Gas Fee?
What is an NFT Whitelist?
How to Find NFTs Early?
What are NFT Sourcing Tools?
What are NFT Analytical Tools?
How to Make Money in NFTs
Put your Crypto Knowledge to the Test
After Apollonauts go through the course, the next step is completing (and passing) a quiz to recap what they learned and test their knowledge. With the passing grade set at 80%, Apollonauts can rewatch the course modules to familiarise themselves with the content before retaking the quiz, if necessary.
Quizzes include a mix of questions with varying levels of difficulty. The purpose of this is to help students track their progress and pinpoint areas they’re unclear about or require more knowledge of.
