We come bearing terrible news: Our official Twitter account @SaladVentures has been suspended.
If you’ve been paying close attention to our Twitter account for the latest updates on our airdrop campaign and projects, you would’ve noticed this tragedy (and probably hopped over to our Discord server to alert us).
We’re currently working round the clock and contacting Twitter to find a solution to this. In the meantime, we’re porting our updates to our @realclubsalad account. Everything remains the same and we will provide you with the latest updates on this official account.
As we pondered upon how this could’ve happened, we dived a little deeper and realised that we’re not alone. Aptos Labs, Luca Netz (Founder of Pudgy Penguins), Alex Svanevik (CEO of Nansen) and other Web3 projects have experienced this as well. It truly happens to the best of us.
We suspect that there might be people trying to impersonate us by creating fake Salad Ventures’ Twitter accounts to deceive our community members. This occurred even though we are a verified organisation with a gold check mark.
Focusing on what’s ahead, the best thing to do right now is stay vigilant and:
Raise Awareness: Use social media and interact with other community members to draw attention to the issue. We don’t want any of our community members to fall prey to any kind of scam.
Report Suspicious Activity: If you come across a potential Salad Ventures impersonator or notice any suspicious content or activity online, don’t hesitate to alert us so we can report them.
Verify First: Head to our Verification Center to ensure that you’re receiving information from the Salad team.
