We’re thrilled to announce that Charles Wayn, the Co-Founder of Galxe and Managing Partner of BulletLabs, has officially joined our advisory team. Created by Bullet Labs, Galxe (formerly Project Galaxy) is the world’s leading platform for building Web3 communities. With over 10 million unique users to date, Galxe has propelled the growth of Optimism, Polygon, Arbitrum, and more than 2400 brands with reward-based loyalty programs. He stands among our other esteemed advisors from Nansen, Switcheo and Kosmos Ventures.

Galxe is one of our longest partners since we started nearly two years ago and has been an enormous driver in supporting our key products and campaigns.

Rewarding Users for Active Participation

In the first iteration of Apollo Academy, we certified play-to-earn gamers to join guilds and play top games like Axie Infinity by awarding Galxe’s On-Chain Achievement Tokens (OATs). More than 50,000 players were certified by going through our detailed educational courses to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to start earning in guilds. These players also collected OATs from more than one game, with more than 100,000 OATs being minted in total.

This is a testament to Galxe’s success in conceptualizing a platform that incentivises Web3 users to engage and participate in campaigns by top projects. It also inspired us to continue leveraging their tools to drive our projects’ growth; even during the bear.

Galxe’s Role in Helping Us Surpass 2 Million Mints and Counting

While GameFi took a backseat during the Crypto winter, gamification and providing a rewards system remained attractive for both Web2 and Web3 users alike. We wanted to create a campaign that could reward users throughout our ecosystem, across products as well as partners. This gave rise to The G3M NFT Series. What started out as a community engagement program to engage and reward our loyal community members has evolved to become an integral part of our ecosystem to help our projects thrive.

We continue to work closely with the Galxe team to develop and bring the big ideas we have in our exciting roadmap to life. Galxe is the ideal technology partner for us, and the team has been incredibly supportive, providing us with strategic and technological expertise.

Having cemented our close working relationship with Galxe, the natural next step was to invite Charles to join us as an advisor; and we couldn’t be more thrilled that he said yes! Using Galxe’s platforms to help grow projects in an authentic way, build communities and attract new users has been extremely effective for us.
