While this brings with it an influx of new players looking to dive into the Play To Earn realm, it also casts a spotlight on some of the roadblocks many will face.

Serving Up A New Dish

Salad Ventures announces the launch of Salad Academy -- a massive open online course (MOOC) platform. Salad Academy is the Udemy of the GameFi community. By offering a comprehensive introduction for players and lowering the barrier to entry into the wonderful world of blockchain games. This MOOC platform includes all of the missing ingredients to cultivate the many layers of skills required by the play-to-earn ecosystem.

The Right Ingredients

The Salad Academy courses covering Axie Infinity lead the flood of information pouring from the Salad team. Two certification levels are currently available for Axie with a host of new courses coming soon. A few on the horizon are Crabada, Mines of Dalarnia, Sipher, Mini Royale: Nations, Happy Land, and more as time goes on.

These courses include video lessons and presentations with a testing requirement to ensure the academy students know their stuff. Also, Salad Academy will soon offer NFT minting of graduation certificates as well.

The Guild and Guild OS

As it stands, the Salad guild, Apollo Squad, is on track to include over 1,000 scholars by the end of the year. Apollo Squad is the first guild of its type and is set above the others due to its salaried scholar compensation with performance bonuses on top of a substantial wage. By doing this, the guild absorbs the risk of fluctuation in currency values.

GuildOS is a full-featured guild management suite. It features resources for onboarding and monitoring, as well as management of players and assets. The core team’s background in technology and human capital management is what influenced GuildOS and positions the system to raise the bar well above the industry standard for scholar management tools.

Investment

This project is only six months old yet has made waves among notable seed investors. The components of Salad, combined with the vision for a systematised approach to play-to-earn, have attracted many leading investors. Here’s what some of them are saying:
