When the new system launches, staked $SALD and unclaimed Carrots will not carry over.
Users are advised to unstake their $SALD and claim their Carrots before the transition.

The staking upgrade is set to go live 2-3 months after Salad’s rebrand, alongside a new website and branding overhaul.

Final claim deadline: 21 April 2025—after this date, carrots claims will be permanently disabled.

Carrot claims will be enabled. Users can begin redeeming their Carrots for $SALD.

Carrot accumulation will be permanently disabled. Users will no longer earn new Carrots, but they can still claim existing ones until the final deadline on 21 April 2025.

Final claim deadline. After this date, users will no longer be able to claim any Carrots for $SALD. Any unclaimed Carrots will expire and will not carry over to the new system.

Claims will now automatically return Carrots if a transaction isn’t confirmed in the wallet, preventing stuck claims.
✔ Unstaking Remains Open
You are in full control of your tokens—unstaking still works, and you are free to unstake your $SALD anytime.
Unstaking will always remain available throughout the transition period.

Can I stake more $SALD before the upgrade?
No, staking has been disabled until the new system launches.
Will I still earn Carrots during the upgrade?
No, the current Carrot rewards system will cease to earn rewards from 25 February 2025, but Carrots can still be claimed for $SALD until 21 April 2025.
How will I know how many Carrots I have?
Connect your wallet and you can see your Carrots balance. Carrots will not carry over to the new system, so be sure to claim them before the final claim deadline on 21 April 2025.
What happens if I forget to claim my Carrots after 21 April 2025?
There is no extension on Carrots claims for $SALD. No exceptions will be made. However, for users who still have not unstaked or missed out during these two months, please reach out to our core team on Telegram and state your issue.
How will unstaking affect my rewards?
It will not affect your rewards since current multipliers are deprecated on 25 Feb.
What if I unstake before the new system launches?
You are in full control—unstaking remains open, and you can unstake at any time. Users are advised to unstake, as we may not use the same contract when the new site launches.
Will there be any incentives for users who stick with the Salad Bowl ecosystem through the transition?
No incentives will be provided for users who remain staked on Salad Bowl.
Will I need to do anything extra to transition to the new system?
There is no transition between the old and new staking systems. However, please ensure you unstake your current stakes before the system changes.
Will the new system have a staking reward similar to Carrots?
The new system is unrelated to the current one, so any unclaimed Carrots will expire.
Will the new system introduce new ways to earn rewards?
Yes! The upcoming rewards system is designed to create a fairer and more sustainable staking experience. Stay tuned!
